EWC190 Country Kitchen Helpers

There are 6 adorable Country Kitchen Helpers in this design set. There is a cow, hen, horse, pig, rabbit and a sheep. Each Country Kitchen Helper is made in 2 hoopings.

The head of each Country Kitchen Helper is appliqued and embroidered in 1 hooping. The body together with the legs or wings etc are done in a second hooping, also in applique with a little embroidery.
The head and legs/wings/paws/hooves are stuffed. They are attached to the body with snap fasteners. The body is not stuffed. It has a layer of lightweight batting instead.

To launder the tea-towel, simply un-snap the head, legs, wings etc. The tea-towel is stitched to the body using a zig-zag stitch on your sewing machine. I hand-stitched a piece of ribbon to each leg or wing to create the bow.
The Country Kitchen Helper makes a lovely, decorative yet useful gift especially for someone who loves being in their kitchen!
