EW287 Candy Cane Table Topper

Bring some sweet Christmas cheer to your home with this Candy Cane Table Topper. 
The pieces are done using the sew and flip technique and the candy canes are done in applique. Each piece is quilted in the hoop. The pieces are joined together with a sewing machine. The backing and binding is also done using a sewing machine. 
This is a quick and easy project for a beginner to make. Some sewing knowledge is required. The backing and binding can be done using the traditional method or with the self-binding method. We used the self-binding method as it is quick, neat and there is no hand sewing. 
Done for the 5x5, 6x6 and 7x7 hoops. 
Approximate finishes sizes of the Candy Cane Table Topper:
5x5 design: 34½” long by 11¼” high
6x6 design: 41½” long by 13” high
7x7 design: 46” long x 14” high
